That education is one of the most important tools to ensure a bright future is a fact long been acknowledged by development experts, global leaders, and every one. Equipping every child the knowledge and skills, coupled with a good set of vales, is the goal of each parent, teacher, principal, education leaders and the government. Nothing therefore can be more significant an occasion than graduation day, when the entire certificate of graduation is given to symbolize the culmination of one stage in the educational ladder, and the successful attainment by every learner of the desired set of knowledge, skills and values. Nobody can be more proud, other than the graduate himself, than his parents, his teachers, and the Department of Education.
To you, the graduates, as your regional director just completing the first year of her term as the head of the DepEd Region XI, I share with you, your parents, and your teachers as well as the administration of your school, the Davao City National High School, this pride and the feeling of fulfillment. May the joy of your graduation spark in you a stronger will, a firmer determination, and a relentless desire to make it BIG tomorrow. It is my hope that the skills, the knowledge and the values that you now have will bring you to the realization of your dreams.
Congratulations!!!
