The Brigada Eskwela is a schools maintenance program nationwide that engages all education stakeholders to contribute their time, efforts, and resources in ensuring that public schools are all set in time for class opening on June 10, 2008.
Over the years, Brigada Eskwela has mobilized an increasing amount of support from both the private and public sectors. This year’s Brigada Eskwela for Davao City National High School was participated by the Davao Light and Power Company Officers and Employees with an approximate number of volunteers of 350 persons. These volunteers shared their time, talents, and material resources in doing repairs, painting, cleaning, gardening, and landscaping (classrooms and surroundings) of Bagong Lipunan building. The DCNHS is a Davao Light & Power Company Adopt-A-School Program recipient.
